A couple months ago, my mom and I were in The View studio audience. My mom is really sick and really hoped to meet Meghan McCain and Whoopi Goldberg. She got her wish and now we're in a promo for The View audience tickets.
How cool is that?
We have a celebrity among us.
congrats buddy.i am glad that your mom had her wishes come true and i hope and pray she will get better.by the way,you looked great.
Snowflakes, Fingerprints and Bald Heads... each one is unique haha.
My mom took sick in 2015 (and for the first 4 days they thought it was highly likely she'd pass any moment) and has liver and heart issues. To this day, there remains a lot of unanswered questions about her health but she's gone from checking in with specialists every 2 weeks to every 4 months. At first, she was being to admitted to the hospital weekly for a couple days and now she's gone 21 months without being hospitalized overnight. My mom is going to be 68 in February and was first cleared to travel in summer 2017. However, every time she wants to travel she has to check in with her cardiologist. An event like this makes you think long and hard about what you hope to do.
In 2017, we went to Chicago and went to a taping of the TV show Judge Mathis. Last summer we did a road trip and my mom got to check something off of her bucket list which is eating KFC in Kentucky. And in November, we went to New York City to do a taping of the The View and also did tapings of Maury, The People's Court and Rachael Ray. My mom loves her talk shows and court shows.
Here's a screenshot of me in the Rachael Ray audience (that we went to the same day as The View), my mom was hidden beside me.
the best gift you could give your mom is quality time with her great son.

Even before my mom got sick, we traveled extensively and did things people think is cool but haven't actually done themselves. We've gone to Los Angeles a few times and did tapings of The Price Is Right, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, The Talk, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. We've also been to Las Vegas a few times, Bahamas, Mexico, Cuba, Florida, and Vancouver.
In April we're going to Pittsburgh to see Cher in concert and in June we're going on a road-trip through Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Baltimore, and Washington. We also hope to go back to Las Vegas sometime in August or September so I can jump off the roof of the Stratosphere Hotel.
We live together and usually go out together once a week. Once the Blue Jays are back playing, we'll likely be going to home games a couple times a month.
Hey man, thanks for sharing. Continued prayers for your mom; she's blessed to have a son like you.
