I have a friend who shaved his head for years but grew out his fringe over the last year. I asked him out of curiosity why and he said that he did it to cover the fat rolls on the back of his head. I personally didn't think the rolls were a big deal, but it was to him. Since, I've left the subject alone. He says he may shave someday, but that's his choice. I'm used to seeing him with the fringe, and in fact he had a nice goatee but shaved it off in favor of a mustache. Nothing wrong with that at all either.

Yeah, I think everyone should wear what they like. Well, except maybe the man bun or bald/ponytail look! Nobody likes negative comments about their hairstyle. After 5+ years shaving, I don't hear any comments about having a shaved head, only compliments sometimes.

Always thought Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goldberg rocked a bald head.
Steve Austin tells why he shaved his head.

While the fringe isn't for me or most guys here, I'd rather have a guy embrace the fringe than try to get his hair back. With that said, I do fine it funny when guys go to a barber to get their fringe cut. Just grab a set of clippers and buzz it down.

Bald guys with a closely trimmed fringe look good. I just don't like it they have a few hairs on the top, just shave them! Of coarse completely shaved heads look awesome.

Truly waste of time/money. A cheap buzzer is $25 and will last years.

I have to agree with Tony it is all or nothing. Now 33 or so days shaved, I grew stubble a couple of times so I was thinking about how I would look with some hair versus just enjoying being bald.

After the 30 days bald, I grew stubble for 4 or 5 days and went to my barber yesterday and said what do you think? Bald fade possible? He laughed and said it looked like I had a reverse mohawk. I told him to shave it all off. Back to bald.

my uncle has had a fringe and beard for as long as I can remember (I've even seen photos from his wedding and he was rocking the fringe and beard then too. I admit as much as a fringe wouldn't be for me, I wouldn't know him being any different. Mild mannered accountant by day and on the weekend renaissance fair blacksmith
