New Gal Among the Guys

I'm a 20-something female who shaved her head for the second time a few days ago. Last time, I shaved it and then styled as it grew. I let it grow for two years. Recently, I shaved it as close as my clippers would go, much to my family's intense displeasure. I plan on keeping it short. I'm not shaving bald like many here but I know there's a wealth of information here that I could surely use. Why have I decided to go with the buzz? Mainly because it irritates a certain family member to no end. But I also enjoy saving time by not having to spend an hour drying hair that is just going into a ponytail out of my way anyway. I enjoy being able to shower in 12 minutes (if it's a long one) and then being ready to go as soon as I'm dressed. I also enjoy feeling cooler as my hair was just hot hot hot.

Well, that's my story. Other than my head, I'm pretty boring. I like car shows, model kits, crocheting, reading, hiking, and adventure. I'm willing to eat food of questionable taste. I could live off of strawberry shortcake as long as I made it from scratch. I'm also a writer of some sort. But other than that, boring.
