Heya peeps! What a great site... I went sly 3 days ago, and I gotta tell ya, I LOVE IT!
Same ol story here.... I have been "thinning" for years, but I've always had LONG hair. So between the pride and denial(lol), I couldnt bring myself to do it.So I started with just going short for a while(about 6 mos ago), and then was looking in the mirror shaving my mug, when the thought hit me...."Why not shave the noodle,dude?" So here I am....in all my slick glory..haha

most "long" hair dudes usually find having a slick bald head fills the void of the extreme not mainstream length..

Some guys here shave twice a day bro - then there's all the polishing to get that real sheen ..... let me tell you ... being nicely bald requires a lot of hard graft!  ;D

It's good to hear you skipped the "fence " part of shaving the dome.
The sly look suits you and I dig the the 'burns and goatee.
I had always had my sideburns down to about the bottom of the ear and I do miss them.
I think I may give it a shot when I grow the goat back.
