Wahl Balding Clippers
« on: January 05, 2018, 04:35:55 AM »
I saw Wahl Balding Clippers on Amazon. I'm very lazy about shaving (this is what led me to grow a beard initially, rather than the aesthetics). I'm wondering how good it is for the price (~INR 3000/USD 48). I imagine they're not as good as a razor shave but are they worth the investment as far as electric tools go?

I'd love to hear from users.

Hi Sri,

I have a set of Wahl Balding clippers and I absolutely love them. They'll probably give you the equivalent of 1.5 days worth of growth from sly.  They do take take the hair down very very close. Also they're really powerful so they can cut through even the thickest hair with ease. Look after them and they'll probably out live you.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Lee. I'm convinced. I'll buy them once I make my big move though because of the voltage difference between my home country and the one I'm moving to. For now I'll just use disposable razors or my DE. I also have a shavette and a newly sharpened straight razor that I need to get used to shaving with.

Try a foil shaver, it really works much better than the balding clippers.
