Hey all,

Just joined up. I've lived with stubble for a while now and recently started using the moto headblade last week. Before that I used to keep it stubbled with an andis t liner. The hair grew back too fast so i started shaving. I keep getting red marks on my scalp. Is there a way to stop this? Also i'd like to avoid the shined dome look. Anyway to have a matte head? Appreciate the help!

Hi Josh, you're probably getting some razor burn. Lots of info here on shaving techniques. When I started shaving my head, I used Bump Patrol to ease the razor burn until my scalp got used to shaving against the grain.

Making your head shiny is alot easier than making it matte. There are products out there to help keep the shine at bay. A head that is shaved smooth and healthy will shine naturally, and for me, I love a really shiny head.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

Thanks reddog. What if I used a microfiber cloth periodically through out the day?

@joshuatyler36 that could work. You can also look at Matte for Men and HeadBlade's Matte HeadLube.  Both HeadBlade and BeeBald make head wipes as well.
