anyone make jerky. i want to try but i need some advice.
Back when I was in high school my younger brother who was 9 or 10 asked for a Ronco Food Dehydrator for Christmans. NO LIE! We were like, what!?
Anyways, we used to make a ton of jerkey on that thing. Just marinated it in different sauces with some liquid smoke, threw it on there for half a day, and voila, tasty jerky.

it is pretty simple. Extra hint is if you want really tender jerky, have the meat cut just a bit thicker than what you want your jerky being and beat it with a tenderizer to your desired thickness.
want to make some cause i am tired of paying outrageous prices for not so great jerky.
