Who's your Sly Celebrity Look-a-Like?

I don't have a celebrity look-a-like. People don't even know it's me nowadays. however; in the past, people thought I looked like Chevy Chase.

Years ago, people used to say I look like John Belushi.   He's not a sly look-alike, but perhaps if he'd lived longer he'd be sly by now ...

Just remembered that one of my sisters friends had said that I look just like this Finnish alpine skier (a world champion by the way) Kalle Palander. I really can't see the resemblance... here he is:



The only thing I can say we have in common is the balding... and perhaps the smile but that's it. I'd rather be compared to someone a bit more handsome  .

We ( my wife and oldest daughter) were at the mall this evening...( oh and yes we are now offically about 75% done christmas shopping) anyways you know those little stands where people try to get you to sell you something.  Well this one Indian dude started to walk towards me and I immediately started saying No Thanks I dont need a remote controlled yappin dog or one of those cars that bounce off the wall...he was like no no no sir yo dont understand..I was like Yes I do understand...but you dont understand I do not want one of them.  He was like calm down sir..i want to make a deal with you. I looked at him again...cause he kept standing in front of my path...and I said..Look buddy...I DO NOT WANT TO BUY ANYTHING ...but he said No STOP LISTEN TO ME....I WANT TO PLAY DEAL OR NO DEAL WITH YOU.. I said OK >>NO DEAL! ....he was liek no you dont understand...What I am tryin to tell you is....You look like that dude off of Deal or No Deal!  LOL....I was like OH...well ...Thanks....but im much more good looking...he chuckled and walked off.  I was like...ok was he laughing cause he didnt think so and I just had a big head...or what?  LOL

Well, I don't have a sly look alike that I know of.  But in the pre sly days when I was thinner and wore a beard and glasses, I had several people say that I looked like Richard Dreyfuss from his role in Jaws.  I don't think we looked that much alike except for the curly hair, beard and glasses.

Believe it or not, One of my big inspirations for doing the bald hook is Avery Brokks' character, "HAWK" ,from "Spenser For Hire" and "A Man Called Hawk".... Minus the kick ass .45 Revolver

it was a similar pose from our Christmas card...

Pretty close, but with my bigger snoze....

 he's still the better looking Dre!

The resemblance really is uncanny. It took me a couple of moments to figure out which one was which.

Yea, the funny thing is he also has those unflattering "puppy-dog eye" candid shots that look A LOT like me too...

I really hate those "caught on film" moments, I'm sure he does too!
