Hello everyone!
I'm Sid, 23 years old and from The Netherlands. My hair has been thinning since I was 20 and now you can really see my head through the hair because it is so thin and light. It has been really bothering me as my one fear has always been becoming bald. Especially since my dad is bald and I don't like being compared to him and looking like him (even though I do and there is nothing I can do about that haha). But for the past couple of months I have been debating whether I should shave my head and just take control over my head again. I figure it is gonna go eventually anyway so I might as well make it MY decision WHEN it goes! I am tired of worrying about it and it making me feel insecure so I am building up the courage to take the plunge and just do it! Really happy I found this site because your stories and experiences really help me out a lot so thank you all!
Sounds like you already know what you need to do. 😉
Yup just need the guts to do it haha 😂
Just take that leap of faith and do it. It's really not as big a deal as it seems right now.
Welkom en goede morgen!
It's normal to be worried about shaving your head, but if you are wasting time worrying and feeling insecure with your hair, then you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying the shaved head look. Yes, it might seem like a big change, but you will get used to it pretty quickly.
Doe maar!
Dankjewel!
I appreciate the encouragement!!
Geen dank! Kaalheid uiterlijk - so spoedig mogelijk, minheer!
Go for it dude, it'll be a weight off your shoulders, and you'll wonder why you didn't do it much sooner.
