My wife got tickets for us to go with some friends to the Cleveland Air Show Saturday. Got these tickets before my mother went into the nursing home. My sister arraigned a birthday party for her in the home Saturday (Friday is her birthday). I guess I will try to swing by and visit my mother after the show. It will be a lot of driving that day. Monday we will be at the Canfield (Mahoning County) Fair; the largest county fair in Ohio.

 I havent really gave it much thought what we are going to do on Labor Day.  Prolly nothing ...just sit back relax enjoy the day off.  May head up to SpringMill...if it is really hot that day..because they have this river that flows ot of the ground and the water temp year round is about 60 degrees.  Feels really good on a hot day.  And the water is fresh spring water..so if you are near the mouth of it ...makes for good drinking water.  There are also alot of caves you can explore and there is an old settlement that is orignal and they have been working in them as if they actually live there.  They also have a grist mill which they grind corn and it makes really good cornbread....so other than that....grab a beer..sit next to the pool and relax.

Haven't really put much thought into it.  Most likely my mother-in-law will call soon and want us to come over there.  She always calls about a week before every holiday to try and get us over there before we can make plans to do something else.  Personally I would rather chew broken glass but, hey, what can you do?

LOL I love my mother-in-law to death but yeah sometimes it can be a real bore going there. Especially sometimes when her boyfriend goes on about crap that happened to him in the 60's. Its like watching a really bad old movie with nothing interesting happening.

Don't get me wrong, I love mine to death too.  It's just sometimes it's like you want a break from people, you know?  I mean she will call here everyday sometimes twice a day just to say, "Whacha up to?"  I mean we talk and see her so much we never really have anything to talk about because there's not enough time for anything new to happen.  But she is a great person and has helped us a lot.  But yeah, sometimes I still would rather chew broken glass.

damn right we are gonna be eating shrimp cooked in 30w. actually the shrimp and petroleum festival is one (if not the)oldest festivals in lousyana. an d my big bro paul is gonna come and enjoy it with me. anyone else that wants to join can show up. just let me know you are coming so we can cook a little more.

We're heading across the state to St. Louis for a couple of days.  Got tickets to a Cardinals game on Sunday.  Other than that we might check out the Zoo and/or Grant's Farm and just check out stuff around town.

I know we have some St. Louis Sly Bros on the site.  So if you have any suggestions of stuff to do this weekend, please let me know.

hey man, ill probably stay home, too many drunkards on the road. thats why iam getting everything settled before that day. i had too many friends die on the road from drunk drivers.

This Labor Day weekend will go down as one of the best I have ever had.  Been enjoying the Louisiana hospitality of Paulie and family and having an awesome time.  Great music, fantastic cajun food, gracious people, good looking women and massive consumption of beverages.  And that was only the FIRST day!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to my Dad's in Columbia City for a cook out. Gonna stuff my self with Brats and potatoe salad...and later probably fart alot.
