Just Shaved Head. Thoughts? Opinions?

Hey guys, I just joined Sly Bald Guys because I just shaved my head! Basically, I'm not sure how it looks and my head shape is kinda weird as you can see in the picture. Just wanted to ask whether I should keep it bald because I'm not sure if it looks good or not. I'm not a particularly good looking guy so please give me honest opinions. I've also included a picture of me with really long hair.

It's not about what we think it's about what you think.

You have a good head of hair but it wasn't cut or shaped into a style so from that point of view I like the shaved head but as you have such a good head of hair, I'd say grow it but have more of a style.

Make the most of what you've got!

However the shaved head looks fine

I see nothing wrong with your head shape, it is just the change that makes you think it looks weird.  Do what you like, and if that is shaved, keep it shaved.

As others said if you like it keep it shaved.  I think you look better shaved.

I like it!  You have a full head of hair - but it wasn't helping your looks at all.  The shaved head looks much better - more adult and confident looking.

You had a thick head of hair and it didn't seem to be in danger of balding any time soon.  I agree with the first comment of possibly looking into a style that you might like.

I think it's cool that you are not afraid to try buzzing or shaving your head.  You have a lot of options, so have fun with it.

Thanks for your help guys. I think what I might do is grow a beard and then see how it looks with my shaved head. If that doesn't work than I'll just follow slymyke's and beardbald's advice about styling my hair. Again, thanks for your help

If you do decide to let it grow back, i suggest a style a bit shorter than the before pic. That style just didnt suit you very well as others have said, but i think it has less to do with lack of styling than it does the length. But it did indeed need more styling also. But i personally like the shaved look better on you. Would be even better if you razor shaved it, either with or without facial hair. Another suggestion id like to make is any beard or other facial style you grow should be trimmed short and close. You just dont seem to have the heft to you that i think is neccecary to pull off any other facial hair style. Those longer beard styles, in my opinion, look best on larger body types.

Another suggestion id like to make is any beard or other facial style you grow should be trimmed short and close. You just dont seem to have the heft to you that i think is neccecary to pull off any other facial hair style. Those longer beard styles, in my opinion, look best on larger body types.

Most definitely, i actually had a style like that in mind when i made that suggestion. The shape of your face just lends itself to that beard style perfectly.

It looks fine....If you read this forum, you'll find that EVERYBODY thinks they have a weird shaped head (And some people really do..but, I don't consider YOU in that group.)....it's just a matter of getting used to the new look.

I think I have a weird shaped head.....but I wouldn't go back to the long hair I used to have.....this is SO much more convenient.....

Suits you dude .Sure you're only a baby yet !! Just joking but it looks grand you have one of the best complexions to pull it off. Just dress really smart when out to take advantage of it
