Always getting Razor Burn and Bleeding from Head Shaving

I have a concern about persistent razor burn and bleeding around the sides and especially near and above the ears. Using Head Slick doesn't seem to help this all that much and I've tried shaving in the shower after wetting my scalp and even shampooing the stubble, then rinse it off before applying the shaving cream. I shave using the Headblade 4 ATX. The biggest issue is that I have hair that tries to grow right on the crevice between my scalp and ear that's difficult to shave and I end up having to shave repeatedly until it finally caves and shaves. Any solutions to this problem I could try? A different product, technique? I currently shave against the grain in general, but some place I will shave with the grain first before against especially if the stubble is thick after going 3 days or so without shaving.

Your prob either.
Using a dull blade = razor burn or cuts
Going over the area to many times = razor burn
Not exfoliating = razorburn and razorbumps
Not using shavecream or reapplying = razorburn
Shaving against the grain first = bleeding and razorburn


What i suggest is that you get the headblade or a mach 3 gillete razor and some sensitive shaving cream or use head slick. Then shave with the grain first then against for a smooth close shave also take a shower with very hot water before shaving as it opens up the pores so you dont get that razor burn or bleeding. AND NEVER GO over the same spot shaving many times it will result in 100% razor burn which will suck

I rarely ever get razor burn unless i dont shower and dont use shaving cream also dont push down hard it results in ingrown hairs and razor burn
