I made a bet about my hair with bad consequences

So this is actually the opposite of the bet that people tend to lose here.
I lost a bet against a guy I work with. He always jokes around about my shaved head, so we made a work related bet. If he lost, he would have to shave his head for six months, but if I lost (which I did), I wouldn't be allowed to shave or cut my hair for six months. I'm 25 and this is my degree of hair loss:
http://i.imgur.com/Ouh0tsq.jpgI realize that by six months I'm going to be rocking a three inch power donut which isn't the best look for a 25 year old. I'm still allowed to get it cut to keep it looking neat as long as I don't take down the bulk length, and I can style it (if one can call it that) however I want. Is there ANYTHING I can do to not look like a complete dork for the next half a year? Please advise!
P.s. I'm not allowed any type of facial hair as I work in an office environment and they're pretty strict about it, so unfortunately that's out of the picture. Also the bet stipulates that the loser can't wear a non-weather related hat. I'm pretty SOL.

Welcome.
Are you allowed to trim it or do you have to grow it for six months straight? Can you go to a barbershop to at least get your neck trimmed? I guess you won't be making any bets involving your head anytime soon lol.

Luckily I am allowed to keep it looking tidy. I do gave to keep the longest length as it is whenever I get it cut

Ha, clearly I was very sure I was going to win. Who knows? Maybe after the six months I'll like the look so much that I'll keep it! (Not)

I had a friend who made a similar bet with another friend except that if he lost, someone else had to shave his head for him (with a razor) for three months (thankfully, he won, but if he would have lost, going to a barber was allowed, but it would have been a huge waste of money given that his balding pattern was worse than the one in your photo).
Feel free to stick around for the six months and beyond, we're here for support if you need it!

Give him a hundred bucks and tell him the bet is off.

That is what I should have said.

Ugh. That is a heavy price you elected to gamble. Sorry you lost.
I agree with attempting to buy off the bet.

You could have a skullet by then! Oh well, think how much fun it will be to shave all that hair off again.

Learning opportunity: never gamble more than you are willing to lose; no matter how "sure" the bet.
