• Hi, i'm a 18 years old from Brazil, so sorry for my bad english! I decided to shave my head because it's more cheaper and faster to wash and maintain.
  The problem is that my friends are telling me that i look like a maniac monk(i'm half asian).

  Maniac Monk. I have to admit that I never heard that one before.
  
  The question really is what do YOU think about your shaved head, and if are you happy with that style. If you like it, do not be concerned with whatever your friends think.
  
  Most of the time, the negative responses  are their reaction to the surprise of your changed appearance along with the joking/teasing guys do to each other. Once they become accustomed to your smooth head, the remarks should stop. Until then, just laugh it off and maybe play along with it. If they see their remarks are not upsetting you, they probably will stop much more quickly.

• Shaved is just another hairstyle choice for guys that still have hair.  Comments are common, with any hairstyle change for a guy (the ladies get a pass on this).  So, it is your choice to make.
  
  If it is only for the "low maintenance" reason,you could also choose a buzz cut and probably have lower maintenance than shaved.  Get a set of clippers and give yourself a buzz every week or two.

• Truthfully, I think you look a lot better with hair. Maybe the mustache is throwing me off.

• Welcome! I think they both suit you, but unlike most of us, you have a choice. Which do you like best?

• It's about what you like, but you look better with hair. Be aware that if you keep your head shaved, it might become addicting, has with me. One suggestion, lose the mustache and trim the eyebrows.

• I think you look really great shaved.  But as long as you still have hair, why not do what I do - keep your head shaved for part of the year and grow some hair for part of the year.
  
  Why not try different styles while you are young and still have hair.  You have the perfect hair for a flattop!  Have you ever rocked a Mohawk? 
  
  The Bottom Line:  you have to do what makes YOU FEEL good - forget about what others say about you LOOK to THEM. One thing I can absolutely guarantee to you - and I know from personal experience: 
  
  - any time that you spend doing something because of what other people like, or want, or expect - if it is not from your heart and is not being done because YOU like it - IT IS WASTED - and you will regret having wasted a single minute of your life when you get to be my age!

• Like the others have said, rock the hair while you still can grow it. It's not that you look bad shaved because you don't. You look very good bald minus the moustache. I'd just take advantage of the time I had left with a full head of hair before I absolutely had to shave it off to look good.

• Thanks for the help guys! Yes i'll grow my hair again, but now i'll keep it short and trimmed, maybe 10mm to 15mm, i don't feel much confortable with a long hair.

• If you are going to do your own haircuts, a 1 or 2 mm length is easy to do yourself. Run the clippers over your head 1 or 2 x per week and you are all set.  10-15mm takes a lot more skill.

• Bald since I was 16, not converting back to hair; I even shaved the facial hair off.

• I can't compare the picture with hair and bald because the bald picture was with mustache which I think it didn't suit you... so why don't you try to shave your mustache and give bald look another try?
  And your eyebrows also too thick by the way...

• Acho que luce melhor com pelo...por que nao trata de fazer um "buzz cut" que deixa um poquinho do pelo...quando estava no Brasil notei que muitos homens tinham essa corte (perdona o meu portunhol)
