Large mole on head
« on: November 08, 2015, 03:38:47 PM »
I have had my head shaved before, while in the Army and when I worked on a Tuna boat.  The idea of being bald isn't what is detracting me.  Several years ago, my dermatologist noticed a large benign skin colored mole on my scalp that wasn't there when I had my head shaved previously.  I am concerned about how the barber can shave around it without slicing it off and some concerns of how it will look when bald. I guess I will find out.

If you are planning to shave your head or if you just like the bald look, your doctor can remove the mole. Pretty simple procedure.  And then you don't have issues with shaving around the lump.  (well, give it time to heal).  Guess if you let your hair grow back again and it's of any length, it will cover the mole area.
