Hey guys,
I started receding when I was about 20, I decided to start buzzing my hair then and kept it because I like the low maintenance aspect of it. I've been slowly buzzing it shorter since then with the shortest ever being a #1.
Well last night my #1 broke so I decided to go no guard.. I've always wondered what I would eventually look like when It all went away. It was a shock at first.. wasn't expecting it to be that short, my head is a little lumpy and pointy but not as bad as I thought it would be, it might just look weird because of how white my scalp is. I think I'll revisit this look in the summer when I can tan my head.

Welcome. It looks great on you. I always like the full beard and shaved head combo. I suggest you give a razor blade shave a try, it will not look much different, but will have less of a shadow and the smooth feeling is awesome.

Welcome to the group!
It's a good look for you, keeping it short like that for a couple of weeks will help reduce the white swim cap affect many experience with the first shave. The beard really completes the ensemble
My dome is definitely not of a Charlie Brown mold either, it's more like a potato, but I think it just adds character to the look.
Keep us posted on your adventures in sly-dom(e)!

No need to wait for summer. But that is your choice. I first shaved my head in January and never stopped since. Color came in fast enough.

I actually think it makes more sense to shave first in winter since you typically have less contrast between newly-exposed scalp and the remainder of the skin on your head. I first shaved in January, too.

Welcome to the club! I think the no guard looks awesome. Deciding to get out the razor will happen sooner than you realize!

You look great with the full beard. Try a razor shave on your head. You'll like it.
