In the spirit of a couple of my favorite threads on SBG... I thought I would start a thread for everyone to show their glasses.. since they go so well with a shaved head.
I know we have had discussions about glasses and pics posted, but they seemed to be in with other topics.
I usually wear contacts, but had some Oakley glasses that I would wear occasionally. I just got some new Ray-Bans and I am tying to get used to them.
Show us your glasses!! I know there are several out there!
As you can see, I didn't pay extra for the "no-glare" option. lol
Mine are about three or so years old. I probably need to get them replaced.
I just don't like being told how much stronger a prescription I need.
I still using those glasses, the shadow are now less visible but not smooth as I want.
I always go retro.
One of the things I like best about these frames is that they a come with magnetic clip-on sunglasses:
P.S. I have no idea why both pics are reversed left-to-right. /scratches-head
I like to see clearly, so I generally get new glasses each year with a slightly revised Rx. I buy my lenses and frames from
www.zennioptical.com which makes the glasses affordable. My most recent glasses are progressives, transitions, all of the coatings (anti-water, anti-oil, anti-reflection, UV) Rimless. High index of refraction lenses. About $150. The Doctor's office would have charged me closer to $500 for the same thing.
Pictures shortly.
Here's another retro pair:
I generally wear contacts, but this is me with a pair of sunglasses (and my wife)
Wow!! Looking great!
Thanks, Zetaeffe! Same to you. Those are some pretty cool frames.
Transitions. Best pic I have at the moment

Those glasses are the perfect fit, nice photo!
New here, haven't gone fully sly yet, but just got a buzz... been wearing glasses my whole life.
Funny story as to how I ended up with glasses:
Growing up both of my parents wore glasses and I, for some reason, thought glasses were really cool. So, in 2nd or 3rd grade, I intentionally botched the eye exam when they took me. I think wearing prescription glasses when you don't really need them has the opposite effect- it messed them up!
