A few weeks ago I decided to try out the new fad of subscription razor delivery. After some research and debate I went with Harry's razors, the 5 bladed ones.
Razors finally arrive, first time I shave my head with new razor I slice a CHUNK of skin from the back of my head. I figure alright this was my fault, maybe I went too fast and the razors are really sharp, also it happened next to an old scar so I chalked it up to user error. I wait a week for it to heal and scab over, once scab is gone then today I went to shave my head again. Same thing, top of my head a HUNK of skin gets sliced by the razor.
Mind you I have been shaving since high school, I've been shaving my head for the past few years at least a few times a week, NEVER have I done this before, very painful.
I believe there is a serious design flaw with their razors and want to warn people about it.
PS- If someone can recommend what they shave their head with, I will be going back to my mach3 for now.

aw, that pieces of scalp scare me out of sh*t
How long did it take to heal up? I guess it did hurt really bad btw.
Oh man! I'm sorry that happened to you. I know that had to HURT!!!
Wow, sorry that happened to you! Get well soon. Would you consider trying a safety razor (when you're fully healed)
I have used the Persona M5 and the Micro-touch (a 3 blade), both cheaper alternatives to the Mach 3, with very good success. I use Head Slick with both razors.
I really cringed when I saw that, I'm happy with my mach3 also, always reliable

M5 is my razor of choice but carts are hard to find. Where did you get your carts?
I have always used the Gillette fusion. I am going to try six blade version of the dollar shave club. Has anyone ever tried the dollar shave club six blade version.
Roger
You can get the M5 cartridges on Amazon. If you buy in quantity they are inexpensive.
