You suit the shaved brows, bro. It does compliment the bald head style.
Personally speaking, it's really your choice and either way you should not be taken by other's comments.
To answer your question: The only difference between a close clipper shaved brow & razor is in the feel. As far as I can tell, there is no real difference in look.
I first shaved my brows back in 2011 & most of the reactions were positive, so chin up & take them down to the skin if you want to.
Regards,
Bilko.

I frequently trim them quite short, but haven't had them this short (basically gone, clipper w/ no guard) in a while.
Not for everybody but you pull off the look.
I like!

I shaved mine off once, and while I have no desire to do it again, I've never quite understood why this triggers such strong emotions in people.

Razor, we need a photo or it didn't happen.
I agree with you about the emotional response. And not just to eyebrows. Hair on other areas weather the norm is shaved or unshaved. Example: Women that choose not shave their pits, or guys that do. So what? Its just hair. Some like it, and some don't. So why does it become an emotional issue for so many people?

I think that people have a strong reaction to missing eyebrows because they are such an important part of facial expressions. I think it can make a face harder to read, and that can throw people.
I give you kudos for doing what you want to do; I tend to appreciate most forms of going against the norm to express oneself (as long as one isn't hurting anyone else). It's true that we should be free to do what we wish with our appearance and especially our hair; but it's also true that we may need to be prepared for some possibly strong reactions.

O Mustache
O Chin
X Below Neck
X Neck
X Scalp
X Cheeks
X Brows
X Lashes
It's all just hair, i.e. dead cells
O Keep what I want
X Shave the rest

jp_bald, I like the photo with the beard and shaved brows better than the all shaved photo.

I once, years ago shaved my eyebrows completely off. It was a drunk decision i regretted, as i thought it made me look like an alien. Lol. But anyway, considering i would have a unibrow if i let it go naturally, i di have to do a partial shave, partial trim on it about once a week

Your brows are there for a reason, leave them be! Although you do look great without them
