So, after years of thinning hair i went from a 3 all around to a 2 all around and just yesterday did a 1. I'm debating of just taking it all off but head isn't a perfect shape. curious on opinions of which may be better.. I've long accepted that my hair isn't coming back just not sure if going for 0 is the route for me. then again it may just be a self conscience kinda thing. oh, and before anyone says i am not allowed to have facial hair at work.. which really bites.

Your head shape is fine. I would take it all off if I were you. It looks good as it is but will look better completely shaved.

Your head shape looks perfectly normal, so I think you might want to try out that shave!

Your head shape is just fine. And, I think that your hair loss will be much less noticeable if you shave than it is now.

The #1 doesn't look too bad... but at least a no-guard would de-emphasize your thinning top. Of course, a razor shave all the way, would be even better IMO. Good luck!

I agree, shave it off. It will grow back! If not happy leave it buzzed. I would shave it for 30 days. See if it 'grows' on you.

Give shaving a try - it will grow back to a #1 in a week or so if you don't like it.

You've got a good shape for a head shave, bro.
Time to go bald & forget what others think or say. You will look fine.
You will love the smooth feel of your scalp after a full head shave.
Best wishes.

It may surprise you, but most people (who have longer hair) probably consider a #1 as a "shaved head", and probably will not notice the difference when you go down to a no guard #000, or less, or razor shaved. It's only 5 days back from a razor shaved head to a#1, what you have now. You should try it out for a month or so, even if you only shave 2-3 times each week. I've been alternating between a #000000 and razor shaved recently and no one seems to notice the difference.
