Surfer Mick Fanning attacked by shark during tournament
« on: July 21, 2015, 10:27:09 AM »
Mick Fanning, who sports a shaved (buzzed) head, is one of the biggest professional surfers out there and was in the finals at J Bay when he had a bit of a surprise.  Check out this video of his encounter with a shark.

People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

He's lucky to have only come away from that with a broken leash!

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

I've seen the replay several times on TV.  That was totally unbelievable.  The sharks are bad both on the Carolina Coast and in the Gulf.

This is all well and good but did you ever step back and look at it from the perspective of the shark?

Good instincts on Fanning's part - socked it in the snout.  :x!

It's beautiful over there in South Africa - all you guys should consider a visit.
