More HeadBlade Products!

Hey guys.  I don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not but I was on the way home from an interview today and stopped in at a local Wal-Greens.  They are now stocking HeadShade, the suntan lotion from HeadBlade.  But what some of you will probably like better is that they are also starting to stock triple blade kits.  Yeah, it's a 4 pack that comes with 2 adapters and 1 caliper to help remove the blades.  It was a little more on the pricey side then I'm use to paying since I usually get the atras or the knock offs.  I think it was around $8 for the kit.  Which I guess isn't all that bad considering you get 4 blades and 2 adapters.  I bought it for the heck of it and gave the trips another go and they do work very well.  It just seems like I have to give them some pressure compared to the atras.  One thing that is very good I will say for the trips is that they leave me irritation free and I didn't nick myself once.  I will probably definitely try sticking with the HB now that it's products are getting out there more.  The one thing that I love about this new 4 pack kit is how it comes with the 2 adapters.  I hated thinking I would have to order just those off the internet.  Now whenever I need to replace the blades I'll have 2 new adapters to go along with it.  Now if they would just start stocking the ClearHead and HeadShed.  I'm sure it's in the future.

Yeah Lance, $8 is pretty pricey for just 4 blades and 2 adaptors for me too but hey if you get a great shave for them then worth every penny.

Just save the adaptors so you have a stash of them ready when you need them.

I think HeadBlade is getting greedy with that 4 blade crap.  Sorry, I just see it as another way to raise their price!   :Xo!

If that's the way they want to be no problem... I just ordered some Sensor Excels! O:O

Yeah, I can see your point on this.  Most likely I will stick with the atras or try out their own double blades after these trips are gone.  Because $8 is sort of a lot for just 4 blades even though you do get the adapters with it.

Hey Lance, I bought the 4 pack also last week and was surprised it came with the adaptors. It also comes with this little caliper to help you take the refills out of the cartridge holder, did you get one in yours?
I agree the price is steep. I wouldn't make that my sole blade, but I do think the HB triples work very well, tho' not near as close as I have been getting from the Atra plus. You will find it takes much less pressure. I will continue to use both.
Next I will try the Sensor blade on the HB, see how that goes.
It's good to have a supply of adaptors, as JDog had mentioned. I am also looking for some of the other products you mentioned but so far only Headslick was stocked.
I am also looking for the Bald Guyz sunscreen, so far only the headwipes and moisture gel have been available. Gotta keep looking.

Excellent Lance, thanks for the heads up.  I am a trip user and it will be great to get them in the store rather than mailing.   I can usually get a good ten days out of one blade and minus shipping not to bad.

I agree the 4 pack is a little pricey, but they already got my money several weeks ago. Now that I think about it, I haven't changed that first blade since then. I've been getting a good shave, but it's about time to change it.

As for the calipers to remove the blade, I couldn't get it out with them and wound up breaking the calipers; I used a pocket knife to get the blade out. I haven't found much use for the adapters either; it's easier just to put the blade in by hand. The blades are great, but the entire package is a gimmick.

You have to use the adapters bro.  Those are the little yellow things, if you're using the atra type blades, that hold the blade on.
