i know it's HOT but what do u use 2 protect the dome when....

hope everyone is doing well.  i know it's HOT as h#ll right now but what do u guys/gals do 2 protect your dome 4 the winter.  i live in the nw part of florida where we get some cold temps during the winter 25-40 degrees during the low temps.  i know 25-40 degrees isn't considered COLD 2 slysters like paul, baldrob, timmj, kalboarnie, & razorx who live up north but as a florida sly guy that's cold 2 me.  anyways... i want other options 2 protect my head besides the classic ball cap.  this year is a year of 1sts 4 me as a sly guy.  anyways.... i'm just like a boy scout.... i gotta prepare & b ready.

I let the noggin stay explosed as much as possible even when skiing or sledding with the kids.  Just a good ol' ski cap when it's really cold or windy.

Warhawk you can never go wrong with a good beanie(or sock hat as my old man calls them). During the colder months it is a welcome addition to your wardrobe bro.

Just be careful for the evil velcro head!!!Makes taking the beanie on and off a pain in the ass as the material sticks to your head.

Remember to keep it slick smooth and shining always.

I wear a thug!  It was cool here this morning.  Prolly start wearing it again in about a month!

Like the others have said a good skull cap is the best in the cold months.  Plus I love rockin' one anyway and the colder season gives me that reason.  But like JDog said, keep the dome smooth or you will catch h#ll getting the thing off.  One other little note about the skull caps which I don't know if anyone else has had a problem with.  Make sure you don't get one that is too tight because with the slick dome it tends to want to slip it's way off the top of your head.

If wind chills in Chicago hit below zero I might wear a skull cap.   Otherwise, I never wear a hat of any kind.
