It's been 3 days and I'm still loving my shaved head. I wish I could speed up the darkening of my scalp but that's my only concern so I really can't complain! Thanks to all of you for the encouragement!

Your scalp will likely get some color in a week or so, depending on how quickly your skin tans.  Some guys have used self tanning lotions to help, but don't try to speedup the tanning with overexposure to sunlight.  You will get a burn very quickly on sensitive newly shaved skin.

There's a nice Jergens moisturizer with some self-tanner that I still use that helped me quite a bit.  But you will naturally even out eventually, as long as you keep it smooth, that is.

I'm on my 4th day of being sly. Still liking it, although I'm still not used to the reflection looking back at me in the mirror. Also still need some color on my scalp. As many of you suggested, I went and got some Jergens Natural Glow so we will see if that works.

Yeah I really like trimmed beards; even on non-sly guys.  (I know, I am in the minority here).

I wish that my beard still had color like yours - it looks so good with your shaved head and the the color of your shadow.

Thanks to all of you for the compliments. Overally I'm really liking the new look and feel. I still have moments of self-doubt where I feel like everyone is staring at me and laughing inside, but I think those will pass with time.

Sir Harry, I trimmed the beard a bit. I think it was a little too long before to mesh with the bald head.
