The first thing that was awesome was that my wife didn't freak out. She just said that she'd have to get used to it. But here are my questions.

My wife doesn't want me going nuts on buying a headblade and all of the "fancy" products until it's decided that this will be my way of life. She likes the 30 day rule a lot. It's basically the same thing as she told me.

So my question is this. What products can I get at Walmart to take care of my dome? I have the Dollar Shave Club executive razors and their shave butter (not sold on it at all) right now. I nicked my head up in a couple of spots and my scalp is really dry right now. I washed my head with my Axe body wash right after I shaved it. I put some and lotion on it and it burned a bit.

What I use, and all are available at even Walmart: Shave Secret (great for preventing nicks), Cremo Creme, Hydro 5 blades, witch hazel and aloe vera. All can be used on the face if you don't continue with the sly look.  Give it 30 days though, and you just might be hooked.

Hondo11 dude,

Good on ya man.  Dorco is where I get all my 6 blades shavers/blades and I use a wee bit of coconut oil/almond oil underneath any old cheapo shaving gel.    It's the cats ass.

well I don't use any fancy head shave products, I use the same Mach3 razor on my face  (well neck and cheeks) i either use the bodywash or soap in my shower. I don't run into problems with this system and I work in a very dirty greasy environment (I'm a mechanic) so I also wash over my scalp regularly with Solvol Soap (a VERY gritty soap, for washing heavy grease off skin) normal exfoliants feel like they do nothing.  So you don't necessarily buy all sorts of fancy equipment to keep your head smooth, slight nicks are more likely to occur as you get used to shaving your scalp, and your scalp gets used to being shaved
God created only a few perfect heads, the rest he covered with hair!

I use the Gillette fusion. It works very good for shaving the head and you can get this at Walmart.

Have a great Day.
