You know, I'm starting to wonder if my situation isn't due to some kind of detergent reaction as well. I've noticed the irritation seems worse in the morning, after I've slept. I started paying more attention to it after you mentioned your irritation was due to a detergent reaction, and I believe that the sheets I sleep on may have something to do with it. I guess I'll bring up this possibility to the dermatologist.
