One of my favorite commercials! (I think it's advertised under Schick here in the states, though)
Great post, anyway, thanks!

I want one of those!

No, I have a head blade and a DE.

I like the commercial.  A bald head on an executive is a nice thing to see.

Cool, but IMO he should have kept the circle beard.

My only issue with it is how the actor is obviously wearing a bald wig rather than actually sporting a shaved head. Kind of dilutes the message.

Is there such a thing as a bald wig?

Yup. Easy to spot when being used -- especially when used badly. In the commercial in question, it's actually blended well into the surrounding skin.

The bald wigs were used a lot in the older "low def" TV programs and cheap Halloween costumes.

I think the shave is real... Usually the back of the head is the giveaway. If it were a bald wig, we'd see the back of his neck have ridges when he turns his head.

Disagree. Look at the shape of his head with and without hair. It's too big after he "shaves" compared to how it would actually look if he took his hair off.

My thing is that's a lot of hair to cut through with a disposable razor just like that. That said, it is only a commercial, and 99% of people probably won't read too much into whether or not he has a bald wig on...just my 0.02, not meant to offend anyone.
