I would either grow it out like it looks in the second pic or shave it off. Don't judge how your bald head will look with a #2 guard though take it down to a 1 guard or no guard first then you can adequately gauge how you'll look with a razor cut.

I say try it...you look like you can grow hair pretty quickly, so you'll be back to hair pretty soon if you don't like how you look shaved.

I have a tall face as well and I think I look pretty good bald . I love it. Like Tobler said if you don't like it it'll grow back. And there is a big difference between a buzz and shaved in how it looks. I say try it.
As for how to go about it you can do it yourself or find a good barber shop. if you want to do it yourself make sure you buzz down to about a zero first then take your time taking slow smooth strokes. The advantage of going to a barber to have it done is that they can give you all sorts of advice on how to do it and how to take care of your scalp afterwards. Either way it should be a great experience.

If you're thinking about it, you might as well give it a shot. If it's not you, then you can grow your hair back. If you do shave it, stick to the 30 days to give you time to get used to it. After, then you can decide whether to stay shaved or grow back the hair.

Your head and face shape look fine. Go for it! If you don't like the way it looks your hair will grow back.

I think you have the headshape and the facial hair for a shaved head. Try it, what do you have to lose?

Have you never shaved before? Really? Most guys that I know have done it several times. Every man should do it at least one time in his life. It is a very assertive and empowering experience , (in addition to being a very virile look).
Please post some before and after photos for us; that way we can give you an honest opinion.

Look, you look ugly with hair and without hair!! ONLY KIDDING!!!!
I would shave it off my friend. What have you to lose except your hair. Give it 3000 days before you decide for good! lol

Trim it down as low as possible with a trimmer.
Wet head with warm water. Lather well with some good shaving cream/soap (Not rubbish spray foam!)
Use a cartridge razor for the first time, preferably one with not many blades in it like a Mach3.
Shave 'With the Grain' first, on all sides. Rinsing the blade after each 'scrape'.
Then, when you have done all sides and top, lather up again and shave 'Against the grain'. Remember not to shave over any parts that have no shaving cream or soap on them. Keep the blade on the 'smooth stuff'
You may need to do another 'pass' or two before your head is almost smooth. Remember, you are not trying to remove all the hair in one go! Each 'pass' removes a little more.
You may then have to 'touch up' areas that still feel a little rough to the touch. Dont be too fussy as you are still learning.
After you are happy with your shave, rinse head well with cold water. Me, i use an 'Alum Block' after that and then rinse and then use 'Bump Patrol' which both help with stopping razor burn and cuts or nicks.
After that you can use a nice shaving balm on the head!
Look on youtube for some great videos of how to shave etc
Good luck and enjoy!
