Hi I'm Dan, and I've been shaving my head for a few years now, I don't know anyone else that does so I've kinda winged it all from the start, I'm 29 now, but have plenty of natural hair loss, even 10 years ago could easily see it starting, now there is only a couple inches max over the ears, then joins at the back maybe 4 inches max (can't really see it), easily have less than my father who is in his 60's.

I'm a pretty definite person who permanently shaves, a week without can see my hairline showing clearly.

So yeah, so hopefully some give and take with tips and tricks, and support from other blokes that understand what's going on

Yes, Welcome.  "Nuts" is a good guy from Aussie land. Look him up.

Your trim beard nicely coordinates with your bald head. 

You'll find a 'headblade' team here. Also a group of guys who provide strong support for double edge razor shaving. And lots of suggestions for brushes, aftershaves, and the likes.

I didn't expect such a welcome! thanks guys :)

that photo is fairly light coverage beard-wise, taken back in August for my birthday, well as close as the hospital visits allowed me to do.

Yeah my shave tends to be in the shower, just normal soap with a mach3 razor, simple and to the point

Hi Roger, I'm in Adelaide but grew up in country SA.
Been to Canberra once was winter and freezing! well as far as Australia tends to go, I spose we got nothing on some of the Americans or others
