28 grey and balding
« on: January 06, 2015, 03:48:40 PM »
Hi all

I'm new to this forum and hoped to get your advice. As my subject title neatly puts it - I'm 28, with completely grey hair, and balding! Not ideal hair genes I'm sure you'd agree!!!

I currently dye my hair and have got pretty good at it over the past years but now it is getting quite thin it's starting to look really stupid. The fact it doesn't look great anymore, coupled with the time it takes once a week means I'm at a point where I need to do something about it!! However, knowing you need to do something and having the balls to do it are two very different things!!

My concern is that it will be a massive change for me. I'm not ready for the full shave so I'll be going from brown hair with receded temples to buzzed white hair! What does buzzed white/grey hair look like? I am thinking a grade 1 type length. The buzzing down wouldn't bother me if I was buzzing down to the same colour hair but buzz and white hair does! Any thoughts on how I can approach such a big change?

Thanks all for reading.
