What was it what made you worry about going bald? (if it did)...was it cause you was worried about other peoples reactions, comments etc did you just not want the look? or was it something else?...for me deep down it was peoples comments i was 16 and still in school so you could imagine why i worried...this worry stayed until i was about 18/19 though sure i didnt want the full grown horseshoe look but i just thought i could shave it...so why did you worry?

I started losing mine when I was seventeen, so I knew fairly early that my hair would not be with me for long. The only time I felt any concern was when I was twenty-two and first noticed the hairline had receded to the extent the "M" or peninsula was forming. That was when the reality of my impending baldness really hit me.
Luckily, that anxiety lasted only a few days until I realized there was no point in expending the energy to worry about something I could not change and ultimately did not affect my life.

I worried about going bald when I was 16 and my best friend told me that my temples were receding and I just brushed his comment off. By age 18 it was very apparent that I was inheriting my dad's permanent haircut. No SBG or internet back then. I worried and spent money on snake potions all for NOTHING ! Bald men mature quickly when they accept their hair's fate.

I worried 'cause I was vain. And with that vanity came the worry of what others would say. I loved my hair and spend lots of time and money getting it cut just right, sytling it, etc. When i started to really notice that it was going thin, the worry came because I was self-conscious about others seeing the thinness, would would they think, what would they say? Would the women still find me attractive with the thinning hair. All that worry for nothing! I accepted it, took the razor to my head and have not looked back! Funny think is, women find me more attractive now, and I get more attention, with the bald head then when I had hair. Again, all that worry for nothing!

It was other people's reactions that caused me to worry. Like DOC said, all that worrying was for nothing. I ended up making one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life by shaving my head bald and keeping it. As a result, I feel great and more stylish than ever before. In regards to the ladies, my experience is similar to DOC in that they find me more attractive now than when I had hair.

Head shape was my concern. I have a very visible occipital bone, the bone in the back of the head that all guys have. Mine just happens to be more visible. I've been self conscious about it since a co-worker once pointed it out. Now, I take it in stride. It is what it is. I love being bald, and I think it's all about how you carry yourself. No one has mentioned the bump in a long time.

Baldbob, ever think about growing a beard? You've got strong features and I think I beard would suit you...not that I'm biased towards a bald and bearded look or anything. Hahaha

I grew a goatee a few years ago, but the Mrs. prefers no facial hair. So, I'm cool with that. I really liked it though.
