I have three sons.  For myself, when I was preteen I had my hair buzzed one summer (this was during WWII),  Mother  had a fit so let it grow back.  In high school I admired several oriental boys who had short cropped hair.  When going off to college some distance from home, the first thing I did, within  hours of parents leaving me, was to get a buzzed  haircut.  I have kept that since getting it shorter and shorter - starting  in 1980 I shaved it for several years at time when that was quite uncommon.   When our sons were small we kept their hair  quite short.  When they reached and age where they wanted to make own decisions they all went to longer hair as with their school mates.

As middle age set in I started balding which contrary to many pleased me. My sons are that age now,  The middle one who lives near me in Tx now shaves his head.  The oldest son, living now in Vancouver, and youngest, living in Phoenix, came to to visit yesterday evening,  My middle son met them at airport and brought them to our house last night.  As they came into the house our middle son spoke out and said you can tell we are all related - all three now had shaved heads along with me.

Great story, sir!

That would be an incredible family portrait.

I can see it now.

I don't have sons, so the best I can do is get a photo op when I meet some of you guys while traveling.

SIL has shaved his head before, but my daughter does not like it and he's still too young to want to part with his hair.  But balding runs in his family. Bro is pretty thin, dad really needs to shave his head.  So maybe some day I can get a picture with SIL and me bald.

Post a picture if your boys will let you.
