As others have suggested, Shave Secret is nice, and it has a clove scent that I like.
King of Shaves - Their shaving oil is sold at Target for about $5. It works better in my opinion, but the scent doesn't smell as nice as Shave Secret. -

I went to my local whole foods and they didn't have the pacific shaving oil so I went to walmart and got some shave secret and some cremo. Worked good, nice clean shave but the cremo didn't seem to last as long as the head slick. I have been able to shave WTG with the head slick then just wet my hand and rub my head to slick it up again then shave ATG but the cremo really didn't let me do that as well.

So far the closest and least irritating shave I've had was using baby oil and shave gel.
I used the CVS brand baby oil with aloe and vitamin e (green cap not pink) then shave gel followed by bump patrol. I tried shave secret and it worked well but the baby oil seemed to give less surface resistance when shaving. I use Harrys cartridges and shave gel, so far really like them. Been shaving head for about 7-8 weeks now, love it.
Here is method I used if helps, shower or mirror.
Cleansed, clean damp scalp apply 8-10 drops oil to hand, start rubbing oil on top of head working down and finishing at face. Apply shave gel in same order rubbing in well.
I start with face then shave head front to back with half blade width overlap rinsing each time.
I re-lather back of head and shave back to front against the grain.
Rinse, pat dry load up with bump patrol. After about half hour I apply home brew of witch hazel, aloe, tea tree oil with old spice or other after shave for scent.

Shameless plug for our Head shaving oil
I'm a long time head shaver and didn't like my dry scalp or the scent of the soaps, gels, and creams that I had been using.
I had read about shaving with oils, but never tried any. I started off with olive oil and couldn't get over the scent that reminded me of a frying pan. Next coconut oil, then avocado, grape seed, etc. Some were too thick, others stunk, some were perfect, but not good enough. I wanted more than just a plain oil so I researched other oils that would provide other benefits (moisturizing, fragrant, antiseptic).
My interest in trying out shaving oil turned into me as a mad scientist mixing up every combination and learning about fragrance notes, essential oils, and more about oil than most people would care to know.
After a ton of research and using my head a the test lab I came up with my perfect shaving oil. The shaves were great, my head wasn't dry, and it smelled really good. After using it for some time I thought that if I liked it so well then others would probably like it too.
I reached out to some other head shavers and let them try out my oils. With a lot of positive feedback and my love of business SirHare.com was born last year.

As a mechanic the most common oil to have on my head is Elf oils: synthetic, I don't have any problems with dry scalp or anything
