thinking of shaving it

So ive been told the last 3 or 4 years that im thinning on top. it really became noticeable and I endended up chopping of my long hair to make it not so noticeable about 6 months ago. Since then I have realized that on both my mother and fathers side, the men have the horseshoe thing going on. I have come to terms with MPB and have always liked the idea of having a cleanly shaven head, but always thought it wouldnt look good on me with my big ears and my somewhat of a big occipital bone.
Anyways, I have decided that since I am graduating from barbering school soon that I am going to get my head straight razor shaved before i graduate. Why wait 5 more years and try to hang on to what I got, right?
So I was just going to see what you guys think of my ear size. I can really care less of occipital bone size. And to be honest im not one to really care what others think of me. But after seeing how stoked you guys get from rockin the sly look. Maybe i can get some encouragement to do it earlier, like tomorrow, lol.
What do ya'll think?

Shave it! Looks like you have a good shaped head. You're overthinking the ears thing. There's nothing wrong with it...I think the shaved head will suit you.
Keep the beard and props on the mustache. Keep us posted and post pics to show us the after.

Nothing wrong with big ears. And the head shaved will look great with the beard and handlebar. Have fun!

I agree with the gentlemen before me. There is nothing wrong with your ears or your head's shape. If you want to shave it, then do so. There is nothing like the feeling of smooth.
Welcome to the board, sir.

Welcome aboard! The handlebar complements the shaved head well!

Your hair is already short and won't make a difference! I say go for it! I have been shaving my head since the early '90's and it is the best decision I have made to my "style" ever!! Jump in and don't look back! Keep us updated and post pix!!

Congratulations, sir!
The handlebar bar gives you quite the debonair edge as well.

Congratulation, your bald head looks great mate! A handlebar moustache and a bald head has always been a dapper combination, but of course I'm biased!
