My aunt is at it again....

Well I don't get up to their house that often, simply because I can't take my wife up to the house with as much smoking as they do.  My wife has a pre-cancerous condition call Barrett's Esophagus so we stay out of the smoky conditions for her sake.  Right now with our area forest fires it makes it really bad for her.

Well anyway, I went up there on Sunday, and the same aunt that made the comment before of "What the hell did you do with your hair" says this time, "Where is your hair, why did you do that and it looks dumb" all in one sentence.

I just responded... Aunt Dorris you gonna hide your own Easter Eggs this year?

My uncle looked at me and just rolled off the sofa laughing his butt off.... the look on my aunts face was again priceless.

I looked at her, and stated, "You know, I didn't do this to meet your approval or dis-approval, I did it for me.  And I don't care if you like it or love it, but you better get used to it because I like it and that is all that matters."

I feel you man...yesterday I had my idiotic uncle from my mothers side come over to my mom's house.  This guy is such a moron.  He is an extreme alcoholic, drinks all the damn time, and because of the high amount of alcohol always in his system, he only needs a couple of drinks to get him kick started.  I explained to him earlier in the day that I had shaved my head because I have the receding hairline in the corners of the hairline, in spanish they're called "entradas" or entrances.  And I told him I like the haircut, I feel more comfortable with it, and the girls seem to like it.  That was that.

But then later on I came back to my moms house to have dinner.  My uncle had a couple of drinks, and he starts with this whole retarded thing he does where he starts calling me and my brother "caraperro" which means dog face, and he plays around slapping on the back kinda hard and stuff.  He's a complete drunk and retard.  Well anyway he knows why I shaved my head, and that I like it and don't feel comfortable any other way, and he tells me that I looked better with hair.  Fine no problem, brush it off.  But in front of my family he keeps going, "no seriously, did you hear me, you looked better with hair."  "seriously".  I was like "alright already, you looked better with hair too."   He's pretty damn bald, with some whispy hairs across the top.  Then I got in a kind of bad mood, and my uncle knew he had accomplished his goal of making me feel bad.  He was happy now and could go on with his show.  Then he started asking me, "whats the matter, are you mad?"  which is another one of the questions he non-stop keeps asking.

Well anyway we sat down to eat,  He had sat down first, so I thought it would be funny to "stylize" his hair, or what was left of it.  So I went ahead and gave him one of those rough noogies that make your hair all tangly and nappy.  Man it was great, he was trying to fix his hair (he's very vain for an ugly old drunk), and I kept going ahead and "giving him dreadlocks" with his 20 hairs.  Then I sat down and ate a great meal, with his weird drunk ass just kind of lookin mad and staring at me and my brother.  He hates the youth.

Then after dinner I go on the computer.  I was showin my little brother something, and I was frustrated with the damn dialup computer we got at my moms house.  He comes around, asks what the "carraperros" are doing then slaps me kind a hard in the back of the head.  I jumped up out of my chair and threw two pretty hard roundhouse kicks to his ass, then kind of squared off with him sort of saying, if you wanna play lets play.  Meanwhile my mom is kind of scared and stuff and shes yelling at me to calm down.  He kind of looked like a dear in headlights, and slinked off to his room and didn't come back out.  I had told my mom before that one of these days I was gonna lay his ass out.

UGH I can't stand my uncle...its always a lesson of patience with him, and I usually fail

I would have gotten his ass so drunk and passed out...you should have put some Nair on his noggin and that would have fixed the last of the 20 amigos on his head.  I havent had that kind of reactions from any family members ...yet. But watch out when I do.  I have already just told a few people like it is.  God didnt make them perfect either...lets see....whats wrong with you?  LOL.. Oh well...gonna have one no matter where you are that dont liek...but they are the ones who are going to have to live with it..not me....I dotn let those things bother me anymore

Chico man that story is something else. I can really identify with you there. You should have laid him out eh. I have a tio who is also a borracho and he used to harrass me all the time for having both ears pierced. After one too many at a Thanksgiving lunch being called a girly boy and nancy boy, I clocked him in the chin and knocked him out cold,His son,my cousin,then tackled me and my dad had to break us up.

This uncle was also on my Moms side.

Timm that would of been a good idea...Jdog, haha...that was a couple of notches ahead of what I had done, but it I can see it happening.  I left my mom's house yesterday picturing myself beating his ass in the front yard.  But I gotta try to maintain respect for my mom, her house, and her stupid drunk brother....but it could happen one day.

Chico, I feel you man.  I have a few family members like that myself.  I do my best to just plain avoid them as much as I can.  The times I can't it's all I can do to not lose it around them.  The thing you said about picturing you beating his a$$...Sometimes that's the thing people like that need.  It's sad, but it's sort of like a wake up call.

Chico I feel for ya.... but next time wait until he is good and passed out.  Then bleach his hair total blond, and any facial hair the same as with body hair except his mid section.  Then tattoo bold CARRAPERROS in perm marker across his forehead or chest.

Yeah man, the bleaching would be a great idea....and yeah Lance, I think everybody in their life needs a good ass whoopin, at least once.  Shoot...no lie, I got out of line a few times when I was younger, and got my ass kicked for it.  Learned valuable lessons I would not have been able to learn any other way.  I don't believe my uncle has EVER gotten whooped, or even gotten in a fight for that matter, the way he acts.  But he's not too old to learn those precious lessons.

i feel for you man, but you have your wife to think about, and as for the insults about your head, just tell them its your head and you will do what you like with it. i tell you, some people cant hold themselves, they have to make comments, if it wasnt that, then it would be something else.as long as you and your wife likes your bald pate, then thats all thats matter. i know how you feel, i had people (girls and guys)say to me oh!your bald, just like i have some kind of desease of something. just go on with your life and dont pay any attension to them.good luck man and i hope your wife is feeling better.

I am fortunate that none of my family made an issue of my shaved head.  Chico, your uncle is a drunk pendejo - sorry, I couldn't think of a better word.

Nobody has the right to go on like that.  A shaved head isn't a rainbow-colored Mohawk.

I have a similar situation with a bald uncle of mine.I went to an outdoor event tonight and wore my baseball cap. He asked me in front of my other relatives why I didn't wear my piece. So I told him that I don't wear it all the time. He then said that it looks good on me to which I replied "What,and I don't look good without it!" so he said," It's just that you look great in it" I must admit I felt a little hurt after that because people have told me I look good either way. One of my aunts then defended me by saying that the baseball cap is a great look too. I have found that women are usually more supportive and less apt to hurt your feelings than men. At any rate I didn't enjoy the event like I should have and came home a little depressed. I always go out of my way not to hurt anybody and yet some people don't give a s##t about my feelings. I know what you guys mean about jerky relatives.
