Raslin's 30 days
« on: October 21, 2014, 12:03:11 AM »
Day one: Read the thirty day rule head and watched the did. Now going to prep with virgin olive oil and then lather with Nivea shaving cream. Shave with a Gillette fusion blade then one with 5 blades. Let's see what happens.

You should have an easy time of it since you've been shaving intermittently for a few months.

I can almost guarantee that 30 Days will transform you into a consistently Sly guy.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Appreciate it.

Day 2: Had a little irritation from yesterday's shave. So just lathered up and shaved with tge grain, one pass only.

Came out nice and smooth.  So far so good.

I don't know about the Nivea shave cream but the shave gel is good. I hardly ever go against the grain in the back due to possible irritation and razor burn.  Good luck with the shaving!

So, day 4 was skipped- just to give the noggen a break.
Day 5, use a mach3 blade and OMW, what a big difference to the fusion blades. It felt so much gentler on my skin.

Much smother shave. Did 3 passes. Two with and one against.  Here are some pics.

Looks great! I use the Mach 3 too and have used it for most of my shaving life. It's a razor I find you can't go wrong with. Fusion has too many blades for me and the cartridges are too expensive. Not that Mach 3 cartridges are cheap but I get more bang for my buck with them.

Thanks @AJ I have to agree the Fusion does have advantages, but for the cost the Mach3 is much more value and does give a better shave on my head at least.

There are a lot of great looking bald heads here, and yours is one of them! What kind of reactions have you been getting? I hope you are enjoying the sly life.
