I need help...ingrown hairs gone wild
« on: October 08, 2014, 07:06:20 PM »
OK guys I'm back. After three years of hair I had to go back to showin off the dome. For the first time ever, the day after I shaved it down literally hundreds of ingrown hairs. That's right the back and both sides. How can I get rid of them fast and how can I keep the dome gleaming. I refuse to accept that I cannot shave my head anymore, I went three years with a great dome and good shine and not a blemish in site. I used a cheap quad razor and am ordering another headblade tomorrow, I also just used regular face shaving gel and have since bought Burts Bees natural (remembered that was what I used prior...I think).      Yes yes yes, I'm an idiot for just jumping in with a "razor" but I need help with all these bumps and your suggestions are appreciated....not too worried about price the bumps gotta go!!!!

Bump Patrol, you can get it at Wal-Mart. Welcome back to the sly side.

Thanks reddog I'm on it. I also saw something on the internet about using a thick natural bristled brush and brushing the effected area but was unsure on that due to the reliability of the net " :/O"
That's why I came back into SBG....I knew I could trust the info.

I think I would give it a couple days, or shave with an electric shaver. You might think about eventually trying a double edge safety razor, since I switched to the DE, I never get irritation, even shaving every day. Use a quality razor, and don't apply any pressure. Good luck ssg.
