"Whoa! You look just like... "

I knew how the phrase was going to end before he was half way through.
"... Walter White!"
I looked up from the files and forms I was finishing at the attorney with whom I would be working on the next case. He had a huge grin on his face as if he was thinking he was the first ever to match a shaved head, goatee and glasses with that character. Besides those features, I look nothing like Bryan Cranston or the man he played on Breaking Bad.
I cocked my eyebrow at the attorney and responded in a flat tone that if he thought equating me with a drug dealer and murderer was going to put me in a conciliatory mood, he needed to rethink his strategy. After the slightly awkward pause that followed as his expression changed and his eyes widened a bit, I smiled and introduced myself as I extended my hand to shake his. The rest of the case went smoothly.
I am so weary of the Walter White comparisons.

At least you have a Halloween costume ready, Mike, although I don't think it will be acceptable at your particular work location.
I did not know that hat style had the name of pork pie until I was called Heisenberg for the first time and started watching the show on Netflix to see what all the hype was about.

Yeah. I stopped wearing that after people started asking me if I stole it from Run DMC or a Hasidic Jew.
For Halloween at school, I don't think Walter White would fly. So far it's a toss up between Charlie Brown (I got the hair) or Snape from Harry Potter (I got the hair for that too except it's in a box).

I've been mistaken on several locations for the late Brion James (48 hours 1 & 2, Blade Runner). I can't say I've been upset by that although I've been quick to dispel the notion...after I sign a couple of autographs.

My wife and I are at the Jethro Tull concert tonight. The guy in line behind us as we entered made the Walter White comparison again.
Maybe I need to give in and start carrying little baggies of blue sugar crystals to hand out.

Hey Cave Dweller: What do you mean; "to hand out". If you are going to go that far you might as well charge for them - it was a good business for Walter White; well for a while at least!
Ha Ha!

OK, I give up. The judge I was appearing before this morning looked at me and asked from the bench if I had seen "Breaking Bad" and if anyone ever had told me I looked like the guy on the show.
Ugh.
