Well, I took Tyler's advice and did what makes me feel good. The Flattop was very cool and "stylin" for the Summer but Winter has now returned to Chicago and I was ready for a change. So, I am once again "Slick and Sly". I am going on a five day vacation in a few hours so I have a few days before I have to face the "displeasure" of the Family.
I also sculpted the beard a bit: took it down close and shaved out the chin into two little points. I don't know if you can see it in the photo. (Is it "edgy")?
I also took Mike E.P.'s advice and had my piercer remove the large ear cuff. He pierced two new cartilage holes, one in each ear, and has placed tiny little spacers into the holes until they heal. Then I will just put some small gold rings into them to match the other one that I have. I agree with Mike, the subtlety is the thing.
I don't know what you guys think, but I think that I look good. And I feel great! (notwithstanding some very bad news from my doctor). My head just feels so nice when it is freshly shaved!
