head slick and brush

how can i whip up a good lather with headslick and brush.  I do not have a bowl or mug.  Can a bowl in kitchen cupboard be used?

Hi Frangi:  You do not need a shave mug or bowl.  A regular cereal or soup bowl will do.  You do not need any thing fancy.

do i put the cream in the bowl first or on the brush first?

I usually use shave soap but on the times I use shave cream, I place the shaving cream (about almond size) to my brush and swirl away to the bowl.  You can do both if you want to.  The best part is just experimenting on what works for you.

I don't believe you need a brush with Headslick...just put an almond size dollop in your hand...rub together and apply to your dome.  On your second pass, reapply with another almond size dollop.
If you want to use a brush..just put the dollop in the middle of your soaked brush and head lather
