Hats have never been on my list of favorite things.  I can remember fighting with my mother when she insisted that I wear one to and from the school in the wintertime.  I used to walk home bareheaded and put the hat on when I got to the front porch, until my grandmother caught me and ratted me out.  After that I put it on when I reached the corner.   

Nowadays, of course, hats are a necessary evil to provide protection from the sun.  I decided that I really need something a little dressier than a baseball cap to wear to and from work so I finally broke down and bought my first old man hat.

Razor, the hat looks great.  I have a good collection of "old man" caps, too.  I feel a little too old for ball caps (unless I am actually playing ball.)

My grandmother was always at the window when I was a kid.  Whenever I left the house, she'd scream at me to put a hat on.  Back then I didn't want to mess up my hair.  LOL.

I hardly ever wore a hat before I shaved my head. Now, I wear one almost every time I go outside. Wow how times have changed! I also concur that the hat looks good on you Razor.

Hi Rob:  The newsboy hat is a classic.  I have a couple of those hats.  It looks good on you.  I have one that is similar to this one on Amazon.

I got it from Amazon.  I may get a couple more in different colors. I really try to always wear a hat outdoors even though I would really rather not.

I wear a ball cap typically but I get paranoid about getting a funny tan line so I switched to a bucket hat from Outdoor Research for my activities in the sun.

The hat does look good on you, Razor.....I prefer fitted ballcaps when out in the yard, but I have to wear a hardhat at work anyway, so most days, my head is covered for 12 hours.

I rarely wear a hat, but I have a few.  Especially when I want to dress up.
