My boss told me yesterday that he'd seen a photo of someone in the newspaper who looked exactly like me.   I should have known that it wasn't going to be complimentary because the last time he said something like that it was a photo of the body of Vladimir Lenin when the Russians were trying to decide whether or not to keep it on display in Red Square.   

This time he said I looked just like a columnist for the newspaper and I found this comparison even more offensive than being likened to an 80-year-old corpse.  For starters, the guy looks to be at least 70 years old and he is also overweight.  When I pointed that out, he -- and another co-worker -- said that it would be me in 20 years' time.  To which I replied that I'd slit my wrists if I ever looked like that at any age.  My co-worker (who also once told me I looked just like George Costanza) said, "Just what do you see when you look in the mirror?"   My reply, "Not that!"

It's not that I can't take a joke, but they did not seem to be laughing and really seemed to think that there was a resemblance.  OK - the guy has a shaved head and a goat, but the similarities end there.

I mean you look completely different from that guy in the pic - different shaped nose, different shaped head, different eyes, different colour beard but obviously all they see is a goatee & a bald head!

Or of course ..... they're just having a bit of fun at your expense? Anyway, says more about them then it does about you .... don't let 'em get to you!

Well, you both are human, caucasian, bald and have a circlebeard (though very different length, color, and style).  But honestly other than those attributes I see no similarity whatsoever.  I also have the same attributes, and don't think I look like that guy either (not that there is anything wrong with him necessarily).  I think you may be working with some major a%&holes who are trying to get to ya.  Just my opinion...
