Electric Razor Shaving Routine?

As I said in another thread, I'm doing a shave experiment.

I'm shaving once a week, using #1 clippers then Wahl Five Star.

After a month, I will then shave daily with the Wahl and see which I prefer.

For those that use electric razors, what is your routines?  How often do you shave?

Why bother with the #1 clipper cut? Just use the Wahl 5 star clipper and skip a step. I don't see any reason for this.

It's actually a little faster. The Wahl gets very close, but the longer the cut, the longer it takes with the Wahl.

I have a feeling I'm going to prefer experiment 2 better, and the clippers will be sitting in the drawer for a while.
I think shaving with Wahl daily, won't take much time to cut it smooth.

I shave daily with my Remington electric. I use the shaver before I shower, the apply shaving gel in the shower and razor shave my head. Gets it pretty smooth. But today, I just used my DE with a new Astra blade after the shower. Takes me about 20 minutes, but got it BBS!
