Let me preface this with the admission that I am a compulsive online shopper (partly because Canadian retail stores are woefully under stocked in desired items, but mostly due to a complete lack of self control)... It's been a couple short weeks since I took the DE plunge, with an initial order containing a Merkur HD 34C, a blade sampler, some Edwin Jagger Limes and Pomegranate soap, a Vulfix Pure badger brush, and an apothecary style mug. I was immediately enamored with the wet shave experience. Since then I have purchased: TOBS Almond, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, and St. James creams. Col. Conk Bay Rum soap, Shave Secret, an Omega Pure Boar brush, a Semogue 680 brush, Captain's Choice Bay Rum aftershave, Pinaud Clubman aftershave, an Edwin Jagger DE89L razor, a Merkur 39C "Sledgehammer" slant razor, a 1959 E-4 Gillette Fat Boy, and a 1960 F-1 Gillette Fat Boy. Help. I need help. Someone stop me before I buy again (soon to be known as Adventures in razor-mail, Vol. 2).... :D

Hi Dan:  You don't need any help at all.  You are just enjoying your DE journey.  You are just having fun.  Keep us posted on your latest acquisitions.  Has you Fatboy razors and 39C arrived?  Kindly keep us posted with pics.  You are going to love that Fatboy and the slant razor.

@DanJMag:  Nice pic of the Fatboy.  I love mine.  I have a 1960 Fatboy.  They are built like a tank and shave like a dream.

Actually I originally purchased a sampler of all the TOBS scents. I'm glad I did. I love coconut and would have assumed this would have been one of my favorites. Oddly enough, I did not care for it. The Lime was good, but preferred the scents I ended up with. I will of course be delving into other brands/styles in good time. I'm very interested in the Tabac, based on what I've read regarding the scent.
