The Great Lie
« on: August 04, 2007, 09:15:23 AM »
Just to continue along the lines of my earlier post, about how the sly look just continues to increase in popularity, it's as though suddenly everyone has seen through The Great Lie that we'd all believed for so long.  The Great Lie is the notion that Everyone Must Have Hair and that Hair Of Any Kind Is Better Than No Hair At All.

The truth, as we're now seeing, is that many of us (not just a small minority) actually look better without hair.   And not having any hair is very liberating.  And it feels pretty damn good, too.   I'll bet there are plenty of guys out there right now who have no intention of ever shaving their heads, who would never go back if they could be persuaded to give it the 30-day try.  Makes you wonder why it took us all so long to finally figure this out and see The Great Lie for what it really is.

That was my though exactly yesterday as I was through the post "Before and After". When I look at a picture of a guy with hair, it's ok, but I don't thing anything more. Then I look at the after picture and then the before picture of him looks terrible. Much better now that he is sly!!!!!

Yes, I think the world getting a clue.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Razor X  is dead on (as usual) .   I was thinning a long time ago (in my 30s) and I guess had a long period of denial about it.  My whole attitude was "No ... Not ME .... can't happen.... what can I do about it ?   Bald is the worst thing in the world ...  " ....   And I can see how the media really plays on this.  Just a couple weeks ago, i was flying to Ottawa and picked up the airline magazine .   On the very first page (inside cover) was a big ad for a hair restoration product with a pic of a guy , of course with luxuriously thick hair.  So anyway; we are constantly pounded with this propaganda (BIG LIE) ; and it is really gratifying to see that so many men are no longer buying it . It's great being bald; it's clean, streamlined and energizing ... and come to think of it  ... why DIDN'T  I do this a long time ago ! ?!?!

Follow the money and you can see why the big lie is perpetuated and continues on.

The interesting thing is that it's not just a modern phenomenon.  Caesar combed his hair forward to hide a receding hairline and I've heard tales of others from that era having hair drawn -- or even tattooed (bet that fooled everybody) onto their bald scalps.  These were men who were warriors, at a time in history when you wouldn't expect men to be so vain about their appearance.
