Fusion Proglide Clear Shaving Gel
« on: May 16, 2014, 07:38:34 PM »
Hey guys,

It's probably almost certain that the answer to this question is yes but I'll ask anyway.  Has anyone else tried Gillette Fusion Proglide Clear Shaving Gel that comes in a plastic tube besides me?  If so, did or do you like it?  I bought some yesterday in Rite Aid and used it this morning. Wow! Talk about a baby butt smooth shave!!! After experiencing that, it would be hard to go back to Edge.

I've also seen Gillette Body Shave Gel in the store. How is that? It seems to be similar to the Proglide Clear Gel that I purchased.

I've been using a clear gel in a tube that I get at the dollar store. It is by far the slipperiest thing I have ever seen. Works great.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

I've seen some of that too reddog. It's with items like the shaving cream and other accessories that are either a dollar or around a dollar. That's good to know!

Lol I'd like to do that soon Goatee. Even though I've never used a brush and real shaving soap, I will have to say you can't go wrong by going that route.  Which shave cream/soap would you recommend? I've heard a lot of good things about Proraso so if I did shave that way, that would probably be the first brand I try.  What all is involved with shaving that way? Is it just a matter of getting a mug with hot water and putting the soap in it?

I am into shaving with a DE now. I use a great Badger brush and Taylors of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream, sensitive (150g, Jermyn Street). It is a different way of shaving and takes some getting used to. I am currently using an EJ89L shaver.
