[Mini Review] 1978 Gillette Tech Travel Razor NOS
« on: May 14, 2014, 10:09:38 AM »
So I decided not to wait for a longer handle and used it as is this morning.  I have to admit it was a bit awkward initially trying to figure out how to grip the tiny handle but once I figured that out, it felt quite natural.  Felt like I had a lot of control.  Here's my set up:

Soap - Van Der Hagen (the white puck)
Pre-Shave - Shave Secret
After-shave - Shea Natural Tea Tree Tonic
Balm - Pacific "something" Daily Moisturizer

The shave went surprisingly smooth and easy!  Had no trouble maneuvering the razor around.  I did my standard 2 pass with minor touch ups.  That was at 530a.  Still BBS as of this posting LOL

I think I'll keep her ;)

Nice. I call my collection the armory. Always fun adding a new piece to the arsenal.
