Hey, SBG's: Earlier today, one of our new members was inquiring about how to shave inside the ridge (or roll) on the back of his head (just above the nape of the neck area)....I've never made a big deal about them since I've been sly, but I've been noticing more and more that a lot of sly guys have at least one of them. In fact, when I was in the store today, the store manager was sly, kind of a big dude and he had TWO rolls.....So, that being said, how many ridges/rolls do you have? If you have none, do you have a small indentation back there or nothing at all.....I personally don't have anything back there, but if I did, I would probably have some fun with it. What about you guys? Feel free to post pictures (if you're not ashamed and you want to)
Well I am a big guy and have one pretty good-sized one. Haven't had too much of a problem Shaving there though.

When I was considering taking off the horseshoe, how my neck ridge would look was one of the fears I considered.
In the end, I decided it wasn't that big of an issue.
I have 3 ridges and 4 folds. None of which are above my shoulders.
It's really exciting Post your great never met anyone out to much information as you can.
Hi guys, new member here, and considering making switch to DE from disposable. One of my concerns, really the only one, is shaving my ridges. I have a big meaty head, and have a sizable ridge with valleys above and below. I've been shaving my head 18 years (June '96) and have always used disposables, though they have never been a perfect solution. Almost always have a little stubble left.
Any thoughts on how to handle the valleys and ridges with a DE? If I tilt my head forward and use my hand to smooth out the skin, they are still there.
