Back to bald...
« on: August 02, 2007, 02:03:48 PM »
So let me see...

First time I shaved my head I was in Korea during my first year in the army.
Did it on a dare, and because I had no money for the babershop.
Stayed like that the rest of my time there.

The second time was in Germany while still in the Army.
Because I didn't have the money for the barbershop.

My hair has been growing in and getting trimmed back down since 1999...

Something about money.
And something about how I look intimidating when I shave my head.
I dunno.

Anyways!

I'm Nicho.
It's pronouced like Nacho, but with an i.

I shaved my head again, and found this site, so I figure why not sign up so I have other people to BS with.

I think this time it will remain shaven because I live in Madrid Spain now, and it is too damn hot for hair.
Unfortunately, I really fair of skin, so during the day I walk around with a bandanna on my melon.

I'm a vagabum.
I live to travel, and travel to live.

I tried the normal job routine and that didn't work, something about not caring enough to make lots of money while working stupid hours. So now I work in a hostel in Madrid, going to learn to play the violin, and then in a couple of years I'll leave, find another place I like, and find a hostel...
You get the picture.

I dunno what to say more besides...

How the hell do some of you get 4 or 5 good shaves out of one razor?!?
I get two, maybe three...

Cheers!

Nicho, bro, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!  I admire and envy you for traveling like you do.  You should check out the book Four Hour Work Week (http://www.4hourworkweek.com) since the author is very much like you and travels the world.  I look forward to getting to know you.

People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I also only get 2-3 shaves per razor, so I feel your pain.

I thought that maybe it is because I am BBC, but if BaldAndre is getting 10-12  :o (and I believe he is BBC as well), the I don't know what we are doing wrong.  Maybe I am going over my head too many times in my quest for total smooth and wearing out the razor  :'(

Yea, I think me and you are pretty much the same "BBC densness"...I mean come on we're both no JDOG or GBORN when it comes to full BBC...i think it's the gunk factor for you, if you get the razor pretty clean I find, it will forsure at least get you to 4-5 days...

BTW,,, the bald head look real tight bro, if I haven't already said it a ton of times to you! O0

Hi Nicho, welcome to SBG's ....  I love violin but if you are just starting out .... you may find you have to move a bit more frequently than once every couple of years. The early days of learning the violin can, so I've heard, be quite torturous for those around you. You might find you need a new hostel every ccouple of months!  :*))

Anyway good luck with it!

Hope you stick around  O0
