Can't put my finger on it but this site seems to have changed........ideas seem to stay on for a month or so before anyone adds something different. Not to be rude but it is actually boring now, not quite as lively. I still think it is a great site but it has changed in my opinion.

Certainly compared to a couple of years ago the number of regular 'posters' has dropped significantly and some that were active in the past have totally disappeared. Even the number of men seeking advice on going sly seems to have dropped.
Perhaps we are all too busy these days and once sly get on with other things.

So why not start some interesting threads and get some conversations going?

There are times that the forum goes through a dry spell....I guess once we become shaved, we tend to get into other things.....I still see an average of 10-12 posts per day....and the forum is still getting new members, just give it time.

Well I haven't posted a lot recently, but I do check in every day, guess the recent posts haven't struck a chord with me, and perhaps due to the time difference here in the uk, what I would add is often already posted!

The posts do seem to be down from a couple of years ago but there are still many newcomers coming here for advice.

I have some thoughts here. When I first found this site, I was already sly and had been for awhile. But back then, I think it was still somewhat of a novelty to sport a shaved head. The community that I found here was great and encouraging. It still is. But as time went on, I would say that once someone is shaved and maintains that look it just becomes such a part of you that there is not much to say now. Nobody really gives me a hard time now. I also have had a bit more hair loss so most know why I shaved it in the first place. Also sporting a shaved head or keeping the fringe clipped is in vogue now, so for many coming to a site like this is not as relevant because of the acceptance. That is NOT to say that there isn't a place for this site!
As for myself, I still lurk here. If I feel I can contribute, I will. Especially if it is to encourage someone to take the plunge. But since I love my shaved head and am secure in it, I really have no issues with it now! So I am more likely to chat about the other subjects!
So that is my observation!

I'm a lurker that looks in once in a while -- I think that many online forums have fallen out of favour as compared to pre book face and twitterer.
